Tavia Gilbert joins us today with a lovely piece from Michelle Webster-Hein, BEAUTIFUL THINGS, and interview and giveaway at The Reading Date.
Beautiful Things, by Michelle Webster-Hein
Michelle began “Beautiful Things” as a personal challenge to take active note of the beauty in everyday life. A few months earlier, she’d given birth to her first child and was struggling to embrace her new, very different life. Capturing one object each day became a restorative exercise in finding beauty in the chaos, rest in the constant flux.
Hi, I’m Lucy and I’ve been blogging about books, audiobooks and movies at The Reading Date for the last four years. My blogging adventures include participation as a YA Cybils panelist, JIAM and Armchair Audies participant, Diversity book club member, and just being a general audiobook cheerleader. My favorite genres to listen to are YA, Fiction, and Romance, though I’ll follow my favorite narrators to any genre. I’d love to feature more audiobook performers on my blog with Q&A’s or guests posts; so if that’s of interest please do get in touch. Blog * Twitter * Facebook
